We try to give our affiliates detailed info in case they need to know where their traffic is coming from, etc. We are actually going to be hyperlinking the IP in the future so you can geo-track it easily from our system.
I think this information is important for affiliates and there really is no reason why programs shouldn't give it that I can think of? It would be very easy for stats programs to include this information in the postback for affiliates.
What are reasons why the affiliate shouldn't know these details?
