I wish they would do that.. it would suck at first but if everyone had a small lightweight car then life would be a whole lot safer. no more hight speed car chases , no more kids dying in car crashes etc..

Some would also say it would be environmentally better. Less oil consumption. Of course, this "oil savings" might be diverted to something else like more energy production for power plants and other gas guzzling activities that don't have the benefit of such high efficiency. It would be nice to see some SOLID environmental gains coming from high efficiency energy consumption for transportion.
