A few days after its video world premiere at House of Slam 2 we had the chance to have this interview with Andy Wullmer, CEO of SGM on how the idea for the track originated.

Q: Was the Idea for ?PussyJuice? actually Dizzy?s or yours?
AW: Originally? Well, actually it was mine ? but it changed over time.

Q: Okay, let?s start at the beginning. That?s always a good way to start.
AW: Yes, I guess. Well, it was in 2013 in Phoenix at an Adult party. I?d been ruminating for weeks about some new promotional item, a giveaway of sorts, but something a little unusual, a bit daring perhaps, off the wall, you know? (Pause). I always liked the sound of certain words, you know juice, juicy and pussy?and they had to rhyme in some way. (Pause) They fit to the industry, don?t they?
So, back to the story: I did some more rather vocal rumination at that party with the aid of a little alcoholic beverage which brought me into conflict with security due to ?the use of offensive language?. At an Adult party, for crying out loud! (Laughs).
But since that night I knew it was the PussyJuice I was looking for. From the very beginning I had this idea about sounds and music in my head but first I turned to the obvious; it had to be a party drink!
So we had it produced and branded and in 2014 it was the Megahit at all the parties we organized or attended. A true conversational icebreaker, I tell you. People thought it odd or great, but all had an opinion about it and it was definitely talked about. (Grins).
At one of these parties Dizzy and I ran into each other and he said he could turn this into a great track. And thinking back to the original idea that words had to sound a certain way, that I had been looking for a rhythm of sorts, it felt very appropriate to also create ?PussyJuice? as a Rap Track.

Q: Wow, that?s quite a story. So what happens next?
AW: Well, Dizzy locked himself away in the studio and at House of Slam 2, the Evening Event @ Internext, we had exclusive video world premiere. More than 50 dancers supported the screening and to share the stage with B-Real and DMX that night, was a pretty amazing start for PussyJuice, I should think.

Q: Impressive. By the way, I learned that Jean Pascal, WBC light-heavyweight champion 2009-2011, also visited you @ House of Slam 2 and that he loved the track?
AW: Yes, Jean is a buddy of mine; we met in Montreal a while back.

Q: So where can we see the video you showed at House of Slam 2?
AW: Nowhere. (Laughs) Not yet anyway. Wait for official release in February. We?ll push the track on iTunes & Google Play and other music portals and Dizzy will feature it in his concerts of course. Some other promotional activities are also planned. Just you wait for the 20th of next month! (i.e. February, ed. Note)

Q: That almost sounds to me like you?re looking towards a second career in the Music Business.
AW: (laughs) Oh, hehe, for SGM and I that?s a one-time project which was great fun ? and good marketing ? but we know that a cobbler should stick to his last, really. We continue to do what we excel at and I?m sure Dizzy will record many more great tracks!
