Launched in January 2015, Global Adult Industry Association (GAIA) is web portal, social network and an international association for all types of adult organisations, professionals and subscribers around the world.

GAIA brings together all adult entertainment providers and consumers in every city/country under one international umbrella to collectively address the Health, Safety, Legal, Social, Economic, Business and other issues faced daily, from a local and global perspective.

OBJECTIVES
The aims of GAIA in each country are:

1. To establish an international body to address the rights, concerns, interests and needs of organisations, professionals and subscribers in the adult industry worldwide.
2. To improve conditions, operating standards and code of conduct within the adult industry.
3. To establish partnerships with all types of organisations and individuals involved in the fight to protect the rights, health and safety of sex workers and other professionals in the adult industry worldwide.
4. To lobby for change of laws, practices and attitudes that impact negatively on organisations, professionals and subscribers in the adult industry.
5. To further boost the financial stability, viability and sustainability of the adult industry economy.
6. To establish a global media platform to enable organisations, professionals and subscribers in the adult industry to communicate effectively with government authorities, supporters, concerned citizens and other members of the community.

DISCRETION/ANONYMITY
GAIA understands our members? need for discretion. Therefore all personal details of members are treated in the strictest of confidence.

If required, members can sign up anonymously by using aliases instead of their real names. They can also choose to make their profiles invisible to other members and/or the general public.
