Is there no option to watch the cams on the demo site or will that be different with a live site.

The demo is just a demo and affiliate links are not functional there. However, as it is clearly stated on the Demo Site whenever you click an affiliate link, whenever a visitor clicks one of those links, they will be taken to the proper Chaturbate page, through your own affiliate link, which is created on-the-fly.
