DateProfits Refusing Payout of over $7,000
Hello All
I would like to raise an issue here with regards to a colleague of mine not receiving his payout from DateProfits. I will be unbiased as i agree with both sides. As i am sure many of you are aware date-profits no longer accepts email ( i myself applied for an account and it was refused, even though there is still an option where you join to tick optin email) My colleague had sent over 6 months of email traffic , generating a good 30,000 USD, (so quite a good amount of revenue for the company) Last week his account had become disabled. If he was informed they we're no longer accepting email he certainly would not have kept sending it. With regards to mail Dateprofits have very strict rules, emails must be sent via there API. Unfortunately this was not the case and he was directly mailing there links, they blocked his account because of some Spam complaints and because of the risk it posed to there inbox delivery (all under-stable) The issue i have here is that if it we're to be mandatory that the email leads should be sent via API then they should have ensure in there welcome letter that this is the case ,a s i understand it they did not. I had spoken several times with Jay, and Andy with regards to this issue, they currently owe him We can not pay you. You sent spam and nearly got our domain blocked. You were clearly told email only sent via our API, and Mail had to be can spam compliant. You did neither. Considering my friend had generated them over 30,000 i find this reply quite harsh especially when he had pleaded with them several times as the funds are in fact for his wedding. If there we're to be some breach for there policy on member are traffic etc and they refuse to come to any type of amicable settlement, i would be quite worried to send traffic there. I hope we can gain some support for the release of his payment for his wedding! I agree he was wrong in his actions but i also agree that to simply not pay him a $0 of over $7000 is morally quite wrong, please let me know what you think. This guy was using these funds for the most important day of his life (something we had repeatedly told date profits, i find this kid of cruel for them not to even come to a small settlement offer with him) Let em know what you guys think, it just seem very cruel to me given the circumstances of the most important day of his life . I hope we can find a way for them to release this. |
