Do you pay state sales taxes on memberships sales
Lets say you made 200k from your membership site in 2011. All members of your site are from other states and countries. I know you have to pay federal income tax on the net income but what about state sales tax? If non of your members are from your state are u required to pay a sales tax an net income also?

depending where you live you should not have to pay sales tax because you didnt sell a physical item, but you will probably have to still pay state taxes and possibly self employment tax. you should talk to a CPA they can usually cost about $300 and can save you way more than $300 with legit write offs.
