Question for programming adult paysite
Dear members, I have a question for my upcoming adult paysite, please help me about this question - who has experience about this:
When a new visitor surfing on an adult paysite: 1. some sites allows the visitor to watch unlimited free trailer without membership for all videos. 2. some sites are allows just 2-5 free trailers before purchasing a membership, 3. and some sites do not allows any of previews before a visitor purchasing a membership... What do you think, which method is the best converting ? So which of these three method are the most workable in this time ? Please tell me your experience, idea, ect.. Thanks. Cheers. Istvan |

NONE of your options will convert.
Why?? Because porn is free. Do you know what "free" means? If you do, then why in the fuck would you try to sell something that is already free? Would you try to sell a cup of sand at the beach? Unless you have LIVE webcams, dating sites, or actual sex products (toys, etc...) then save your self a shit load of wasted time and wasted money and STOP what you are doing right now and learn another trade. Go back to school, or learn a real skill and develop a small business or work for somebody else. DO NOT take the path you are about to start, which is trying to sell something online that is already free. PORN = FREE. Got it? Now move on. |

Dear LovinNothin,
I love when somebody sad things about me, who do not know me who i am... I am in this adult business since 3 years, and I have quite enaught experience with many things, and i am still earning money from adult videos. Of course I wanna learn more and more new things, that is why I am looking for new solution, and that is why I posted my question for this community. Porn is NOT FREE ! Just the shit is free, or old contents, or those contents whose did not took care of their videos 10 years ago..., and the hackers easely can stole it from the many unprotected websites... But there are thousands of paysites are working on these days, which are provides their contents for MONEY ! - not for free... All the good quality things are for money...! Not for free.... I do not know who are you, and why you are here..., but your words are very strange for me.... And I hope the website owners now - these years learned from the past happened things, and now, they protect their sites from hackers quite enaught ! And hope the free shit will be gone to dark, and the people will take effort to pay for the good quality contents again... |

Do not listen or comply with thieves or garbage recyclers.... Make good, original and unique content, then give about 1 to 5% of it away free (on your site, tubes etc...) and win..
Make shitty content, and go and get a job with Uber.. In other words: |

Just noted you are in Hungary so find a few " nadyon szep kishasons" ( forgive the spelling) and shoot something clever... Before you do let me see the models and the idea and I will steer you right. Maybe we can even make something toghether and share it..I am only 250 km away
Good luck in the meanwhile. |

Absolutely right. If you have a quality niche content, you can make a lot of money. Niche sites are the future of the industry.

I've been running my sites since 2008. Over the past eight years I have tried different approaches to trailers/free sample videos, trying to figure out what converts best. I really took a scientific approach, tracking the data, developing a hypothesis, and testing that hypothesis. For me, I found I get the best results with a well edited full site trailer on my front page. The trailer is edited to communicate the benefits of joining to potential members, while still being entertaining to watch. Then I have a free video page so people can get a clear idea of what kind of content they are getting when they sign up. The free video page only has one video on it, but that video changes every day, which encourages users to keep coming back day-after-day for the next free video, but also increases the chance that they will be tempted to take the plunge and sign up. Lovin Nothin wasn't wrong when he said that people are accustomed to free porn. However, as others have said, if you have good exclusive content, there is an audience for it. For customers to sign up, they need to get some substantial benefit they aren't going to get from free stuff. You need to communicate to them what that benefit is. My sites are in extremely small niches, so there isn't a whole lot of free content I have to compete with. The free stuff that is out there, however, is poorly shot and mostly the same stuff that comes up over and over again. So, I communicate to my customers that all my videos are 100% exclusive, not the same stuff they keep seeing everywhere. It is very well shot, creative scenarios, and lots of new updates every week. Then I deliver on all those promises, so my users can really feel like they are getting an excellent value when they sign up. I make my content so good, that if they ever leave, they are going to be very disappointed with the other stuff out there. |
