domains as domains, not better or worse than any other extension if properly used.
focus on the content and promotion of a site, not so much on domain extension. |

Agreed, the content is the king. There are many sites with xxx domains that do well so you can too.

As there are loads of domains available with different extension then I believe that xxx makes no difference. Agreed on previously said - content is a king. However, personally I trust on .com maybe it is just old fashion thing :D

In my opinion if you know you're going to put adult content on it, very good idea.
The guys from ICM registry will tell you that many domains are falling to page2 because of safe search filtering. Google wants to separate the "good" from the "bad" as much as possible, and will learn to apprrciate any signal from your end that your site is not suitable for minors. Hotcougar.com could be a mainstream dating site, while hotcougar.xxx gives you a good indication this site may well contain adult content. I could keep going about this but in short: do it. |

On all alternate extensions I just dig the dead on keyword ones that flow with the extension. Personally though would only own one if I had the .com as well as that's all I'll develop on.

Too expensive, I would never use or buy a .xxx if you buy one you are condemned to use it for porn for the rest or your life, but if you have a different extension one day you might use it for something else, like dating, etc. And you canīt sell .xxx easily, so many things against them.
