Does Facebook ads still work in mainstream? Hell yes - I can help
I'm an oldie 'round these parts, these days managing a mainstream agency and within it handle Facebook ads for clients. LinkedIn ads as well, but FB is still where most of the opportunity lays.
I've helped speakers, authors, health professionals, internet marketers, spiritual workers, investment gurus and more get quality leads and get sales/ROI from Facebook ads. Have CPMs gone up? Sure. Aren't people ad-blind on FB by now? Nope. Maybe to shitty ads, and some audiences are less click-happy than others certainly, but we've had some ads recently getting as high as 12% clickthrough. To a junk audience? Nope - quality US audience, with many turning into leads and plenty of those people ultimately buying. Heck, for one client who offers online courses in a niche health space, I've been running ads to the same automated webinar setup now for a year, and it's still producing $10k+ profit each month for her (not more only because she's kept the spend at $6k/month). Another in the real estate investment space struggled to get leads under $20 before me (understandable since CPM is extremely high in that space), with well-known guys like Kusmich and others trying and failing on that. They've been getting over twice as many leads now for several months through my managed campaign and the leads have been higher quality to boot, so they've been killing it. Do you have to worry about the ad account getting shut down? Not unless you're wanting to sell stuff against their TOS, and even then, a long enough funnel leading to it without signs of it on the upfront may still work (I've done this with a client selling affiliate marketing training). I don't employ any black hat BS to get results. People needing to create account after account to get results are creating no long-term value at all, because in the process they're likely pulling bait & switch on the ad viewer and trying to bilk people out of their info or money. Screw that. Build and grow a real business. That's what I help with. My experience with e-commerce is a lot less than for things like lead gen using free reports/webinars/videos or even engagement/audience building using blog posts, videos, quote images, etc. Typically I've gotten traffic for good enough costs and the offers haven't been compelling enough to bring the revenue in. That said, another important thing to note is that the rare time when something simply is not producing and doesn't appear like I could make it produce, I don't let you simmer month after month with subpar ads saying "any month now!" while I take your money, but rather will suggest stopping the ads and go over any info gained from the campaign. Usually it's clear whether it's part of the funnel, the sales offer, or just hard to pinpoint a good fitting audience on Facebook for it, and even just the information from that can be worth the cost of having tried the campaign out. Our rates are very reasonable - $1,200 for strategy/setup, $900 additional for retargeting pixel/audience and campaign setup, and $1,500/mo to manage up to $10k/mo and 10% for any ad spend beyond that per month (i.e. $20k/mo ad spend would be $2,500/mo to manage). If you're interested, feel free to PM what mainstream area you're in, what if any lead gen funnels you've got and/or what you sell and any goals you've got for leads/sales + budget you've got to produce that with and I'll give my thoughts on whether it'd be a fit and we can go from there.
