If you're looking for free to use music, with various licenses related to attribution, there are a handful resources that I know of:
* FreePD * Incompetech * Pixabay The old school way would be to make your own in Garageband, but I'm not sure of the licensing there. I recognize some adult industry tunes as Garageband though. I think the best bet would be to find some smaller musicians on Bandcamp, Soundcloud, or Youtube, who fit what you're looking for, and offer to license their music for a small fee. Then you can nail down the license, everything is above board, and there are tons of musicians out there who could use the money.

Freesound.org has a lot of sound effects and musical stings and loops which are free to use. The Internet Archive has a lot of out of copyright music.

Ty, I'll take a look at those sites. For the track I was interested in on another site I was quoted approx $1,000 a year to use it on pre-roll video ads!

Honestly that's not that crazy? A little high, but it depends on the traffic. Plus, being in adult, means there's always a premium. Tidal and Apple pay $0.01 and Napster pays $0.02 per stream. If you got 50,000 views that's 2 cents per view. Seems somewhat comparable to me.
