it is happening to a bunch of adult results lately i noticed. i suspect google may have devalued adult sites a bit or tweaked something that affected how adult seo's do their links ie: devaluing sidebar links.

prob doing some shit like devaluing sidebar and footer links. increasing value of body text links maybe. those sites are ranking with links, but alot less than surrounding sites. i havent checke the anchors either, but i doubt there all anchored for "Porn" only.

Google sucks now since they wanna take what you're searching for and give you results for what they THINK you're searching for. Which is not right most of the time.

there is definitely something going on with google search results as a whole. i have a mainstream shopping website that is 100% legit, and targets very non-competitive search terms and ranked on the first page for about 20-30 of these terms the last two years, and just a few days ago it all disappeared replaced by websites that have nothing to do with the search terms, or aren't even close to being optimized for the particular terms.

Progressive_outer_retinal_necrosis = PORN acronym, probably has a fair few PORN anchors.

welcome to 3 months ago - those sites have been at the top for a while. First it was that comic site... then followed bookshelfporn... then in a couple weeks staircaseporn...then in a couple weeks chartporn and food porn. It didn't happen all at once and they have been there for a while.
