Photoshop Gurus: Step inside

Is there a photoshop tool that lets you easily create word bubbles like those in the funny porn comic at http://gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=1003927 ?

Sorry for being a douche and using Paint Shop Pro instead of Photoshop, but PSP has a "Preset Shape Tool" which has a shitload of different "call out" shapes like the ones in comic strips. I would think Photoshop would have something similar.

There's one built into the shape tool already.

Or you can create them really easily on the fly with the elliptical marquee tool and the lasso tool (what I usually do)...., fill with white, stick on a border filter and yer done

I still use it though. But I'm 3 versions behind (still on X instead of X3), so what do I know.

So basically shape is preset? There's no standalone tool where you enter the text and the bubble adjusts to the text?

In the outdated version of Paint Shop Pro I have, I can stretch the bubble to whatever size I want. The text is always on a seperate layer, so after I type my words, I can stretch my bubble to the right size, and move it around to fit my text.

Ah. Cool. I wonder if there's an existing image processing tool that integrates the 2 layers so the bubble basically adapts to the text.

That'd be nice. Newer versions of PSP might have it.

I just threw this together in like 2 minutes:

Was going to suggest looking on Google images, but that looks like a good enough collection of them.

Write an action that lets you add a layer with a bubble if you have a few to do.
