open 50 mainstream blogs with adsense, interlink them properly with the most imporant site linked the most and with no links out from it and you will make money with either mainstream sponsors or adsense.

not to mention the possiblities with various social media link campaigns, smartly pointed xrumer blasts, etc

THe niche could be a problem, yes. I plan to cross over to adult soon. It's paying much better, anyway. But first I want more people to link to the site.
Adsense is just ridiculous. I mostly put adsense on the site because I find it's ironic that Google would sponsor my site. Makes me laugh every time I see it (because my site shows how evil Google is).

So what was the objective? it's pretty obvious you are doing something wrong, I've never heard of anyone getting .14% CTR... you should be getting at least in the ballpark of 10x that, so more like 1.4% = $40/week = $2k/year in easy income... not bad for a first try...

Try this instead:

Go to spyfu.com and find a niche that pays FAT RATES per click. Harvest related keywords.

Go to google search volume tool and find volumes for those keywords and other related keywords.

Get a domain that has your target keywords

Download Wordpress and SEO plugin and XML site map. Use an effective adsense theme like bluesense from dosh dosh

Set them up using your keyword and compelling description with call to action.

Buy keyword targeted content and backlinking from webmasterlabor.com

The lesson to be learned here is NOT to throw ads up on your site and hope for the best. That's unless you like being a traffic negro.

Page CTR: 0.14% <----- This tells me 2 things. You need better ad placement and you need to hammer the CAF.

Hey I haven't tried this. This is a cool idea. I get about a 6% CTR on "ads right in the middle of the page". I get about 0.0000001% on "ads at the side of the page"

Two days ago I made over 6 Euros in one day with the same setup that made me 0.80-1.50 Euros/day the last weeks.
Is there a way in adsense to analyze what happened that day? I looked at the stats, but all I see is aggregated data. I have no idea what was going on that day. Did a high-paying add get thrown into the mix and somebody clicked it?

But for now, I have a website with a set niche that I need to monetize. And one way I tried is adsense.
