Join a program or buy content for new site?
What do you think would be more cost effective for a new local niche porn site? Joining a program that has ex-gf/amateur content or to buy content off GFY?
 I'm not planning on making any of my own content until I can get enough $$ from the site to buy equipment and pay girls. The content I'd be buying off GFY would come from either NaughtyRob or RedGlamourStudios. |

it all depends on how good you are at adult marketing. if you have experience making real money - in the last 6-12 months (ie 2010) - at affiliate marketing in the niche you enjoy, then try your hand at your own paysite. your profits will be better if you know how to maximize the marketing channels.
however if you have no experience, and are a nube to this biz, then you really need to spend 6-12 months in the trenches figuring out how to make money pushing sponsor sites. every day i get new guys/gals signing up for PornCMS. most of them buy a few $K worth of content, buy a design, pay us to install their design and work -- and then spend 3-6 months watching <100 people a day visit their site. then they cancel all pissed off. marketing is the ONLY key to this business. you can have a good idea, you can have great content, but if you are shitty at marketing then you have no value.
