AWEmpire Own My Money (proof screen)

AWEmpire approved all what I did. Screenshot for proof.
I can't post URL, make it, please, from this, or repost, please

I working 2 periods of February. Spent HUGE money. I did only that approved - make Lists, buy traffic in Trafficholder. And 1 March I see this...

_______________________________ Email with Support. Read from Down till Up:

Hello. Thank You for respond.

I understand You, Brad. But and You should understand me - I spent many money in advertising on eBay and sold and unsold many eBay lots (paid listing fees), on which registered buyers from link, I bought traffic from Trafficholder and sent it to links. And that's all what I done. I working hard month and You just taken all money.

I know, risk management is monitoring webmaster activities continuously from several aspects, but therefore I asked You about eBay list. I newbie webmaster, I did ONLY what you are allowed me and nothing else, 2 periods - therefore I think that the explanation of risk management about terminated account - the usual lies. They not explained nothing, just deleted all money for 2 periods and said only to You - believe to us! And You say me - Believe to them! To who and with that??
Support for webmasters (and for me in this case) - You, Brad. I don't know who is mystical risk management. I gave proof of my words to You. You don't given me proof, only words that I loose all my money because risk management find something! You don't know what, but You believed them. Maybe You should ask them? Why Betty sent me to You, not to risk management? Because You my Support! Not they!

I don't know some terms well, because english not my language, but I carefully read rules, You really can make all what You want without explaination etc. But in this situation, Your action for webmasters look like poor cheating. And I would like to see that the daredevil will trust you after this.

Alexey

Hello,

Based on what you wrote to me I could not bring up anything against your method, but please note that our risk management
is monitoring webmaster activities continuously from several aspects.

They investigated your account and found it solicitous. The decision was made after close consideration.

Regards,
Brad

Seems to me like you're paying people to sign up for LiveJasmin so that you can get the $222 PPS. The guy who told you they have no exact policy against it is to blame, they should at least pay you for the money you made up till now since they ok'd the method you're using.

But for future reference, when you are paying someone to signup the reason they are signing up is for the money you are giving them - not for the live webcams themselves. The idea with PPS is that the company will make money from the return visitors but in the case where they are only there to be paid one time, they will only visit one time.

Here is a summary for the Senator and any other slow people out there who can only understand perfect English.

Affiliate thinks up new way to promote AWE, runs it by them in writing to check that it is ok, they reply that it is not specifically contrary to their terms but to check it is not against ebay's terms, he then proceeds with promotion, makes sales, and AWE refuse to pay out on some made up grounds.

Seems straight forward enough to me.

Thank you for understanding my situation. I'm newbie in this business and therefore I asked Brad (AWEmpire support) first, and he said "It's OK". So, I do it.
Yes, I paid people who registered, but I give this link on eBay List (on screenshot) and I think he read List first and answer after it!
Why I should leave all my money only because AWE Support BRAD made his JOB VERY BAD!
PS my general business - webcam studio owner

Yeah, this seems like Brad, who read the initial inquiry into how this guy wanted to promote, dropped the ball in this situation. Based on the initial email in the screenshot, this guy clearly wanted to generate new sales through incentivization (paying visitors to join via his link) which is a classic no no for just about every affiliate program. Brad should have told him "no" at that time. Instead of deleting this guys account, AWE should just convert him to revshare and let him continue to promote in the same manner. He'll find out real quick how profitable his sales are, not only for AWE, but to his own advertising budget.

I know you are new, but every program out there will not allow you to pay people to sign up from your link. Even though Brad may have not done his job and taken more time to try and understand how you were promoting, as an affiliate you have to learn the very basics of what can and cannot be done.

I'm still somewhat confused on your promotion, initially I thought you were paying people individually to sign up via your link, but are you saying you just paid for traffic and sent them to some ebay listing with your livejasmin link?

If all this is correct, and np other "things" have been done, I think that the right way to deal with this is to pay him what he made, then send an email telling him not to do this. All based on the fact that Brad OK'ed it. IMO.

It does sound pretty open and shut. When you are new and have a question then ask a company rep about it only to get the green light. He might of not fully understood the question, but it sounds like he should get paid for the sales and then set straight.

I think it is a tough spot for any company though... Sponsors lay down tons of cash to stay competitive and a chance to not pay out near 4 grand must look mighty sweet. At the end of the day they are gambling that they will make the money they paid out back plus more and anytime they can disqualify a payout it really pads the books.

If a representative of AWE told you it was ok (which looks like it's the case), then they should legally pay you what you are owed up until the time they told you to stop doing it. Otherwise it's 100% deception.

Why does "also" mean AWE when you referred to ebay's Tos? The statement was we have no current policy against this, therefore by inference he can do it right? An AWE employee gave out wrong information it looks like and the affiliate is paying for that error.

How many times terms= ebay + awe?
eBay allowed this lists.
Awe had no exact policy against it. First time...

AWE don't sent me ANY email or ICQ message or ticket etc where say - stop.
I came to home in one evening and was SHOCKED!
First time I think - maybe traffickholder sent many test traffic on link... But no, they only owed money.

Is that the relevant part?

sucks for you advisor, hopefully you get at least some of the money. Our program would not accept this type of traffic, however, we would have told you that when you asked.

We do not have policy against that type of traffic, but we do have policies for the following:

PPS Program details:

Quote:
We reserve the right to disqualify any affiliate from the promotion and may switch affiliate accounts to a revenue share basis in cases of, including but not limited to, low performance, suspected foul play, questionable marketing practices. In case of fraud (including but not limited to self-signups and fraudulent signups) affiliate commissions will be withheld or voided and the affiliate account may be terminated. Sales made via email spamming, social networking sites, member deception by giving out false information about the product, or "chat marketing" on instant messenger platforms will not qualify for the promotional PPS payouts.

I'm not going to take the time to read through all your terms, can you please paste the part that references incentivizing sales? Ebay's terms would have no bearing in this matter between the affiliate and your program. At the very least, convert his account to revshare and pay him out his %. He'll probably still lose money, but it will educate him on how much you're actually making off of his traffic and help him realize why paying out an incentive to get a sale is generally bad for the program.

Why You don't write:
We - GODS
Webmasters - Peaces of shit
????
Why You wrote so many words if all of words mean - only that you can do all that you want? So, if your employee don't drink cup of coffee when respond on ticket - WHY I SHOULD PAY his fault??? YOU CHEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

But that is related to that topdog $222 PPS program right, which runs from march 1-march31?

Methinks you need to add that to your more general terms if by quoting that you are saying it is applicable to all PPS programs....

You'll need to amend your terms then, as I think you're the only program who does not have policy in place against affiliates incentivizing sales (paying for signups). Particularly when you're running a promo for $222/sale, you're just inviting affiliates to pay for signups.

AWE should convert his account to rev share and pay out whatever is owed.

Don't drop the ball again AWE...and do the right thing.

If your rep gets asked about is this type of traffic ok and he says yes then it does not matter what is in the terms. I have made mistakes in the past that cost me money due to not knowing enough about the situation but I did not blame others for it. AWE you fucked up here pay up.

Ouch, just looked at your ebay listing . Can't believe you were paying out $100 to anyone that would make a $50 purchase, oh well, lesson learned I guess.

I agree, this is the best solution rather than just telling him his account is closed and he won't be paid. Also, when the affiliate sees how little he'll get paid out on revshare, it should wake him up on why programs don't accept pay for signup sales.
