Update on the Epassporte zlattorneys.com

They are refusing to pay funds out. zlattorneys.com has started lawsuit proceedings against its officers and representatives. I suggest anyone that is owed money, contact Daniel.

This is sad news

How much do I need to pay them to start such a law suit?
I "only" have $990 locked in my wallet.
I would love to get in on the action - I regard that money lost anyway. But if I end up without seeing money from epass (which is very likely) and then the lawyers want money from me on top of that - no thank you.

hmm 24-7 has no office in Curacao or Aruba that I have heard of.

Sounds like the next step will be an attempt to drag it out and then settle for small amount.

@Davy = 20k min.

I doubt we will see our money.

But hey, I'll write this guy an email.

How much do you have locked in the wallet, nsacm?

let me ask once more..
There is the "fee" and then there is the "court costs"..filing papers etc.

nsacm, did you have to pay the court costs, or did you pay nothing at all?

I was actually going to start a thread on this subject today. From what I gather people are leaning towards the assumption the funds are just lost?

I submitted all the paperwork they asked for on 10/21/10. On 11/4/10 I sent an email confirming they had all the paperwork they need and on 11/5/10 they responded saying they did and that payment will be on it's way but with no specific timeline. As of 11/23/10 (over a month later) everything still shows as pending.

Chalk it up as lost or is it just a slow process due to the limited staff on hand now? Thoughts.

If it was a situation of "limited staff" at least one person would have been paid by now.

This is sad news
When you say "They are refusing to pay funds out", is ePass actually responding and saying no? Are they giving a reason? eg: if they're saying they're not going to pay because the information isn't valid from the person requesting it then that's different than saying we have to money to send out or, we're not sending anything to anyone.

Well he is listed as the owner of both the bank and Epassporte, so I would guess "Mallick is Eliased" would be a possible scenario as well.

You can have a N.V. company But when there is mismanagement you are responsible. Not only for the money in the N.V. but with all your money. This figurehead has money and a reputation to lose.

So whats the email to these guys and what's the fee on the amount collected? I have $948 locked up in the wallet and would love to get it, at least half anyways.

This is common practice amongst lawyers involved in lawsuits. Most of them wont take a fee upfront, just 1/3 of the settlement. This happens all over the place every day.

Follow up to my previous post. For shits and giggles I emailed epassporte again tonight and they responded in less than 3 hours with the following:

"We apologize for the delay of your wire request. We are working diligently to have wire requests completed as soon as possible for over 50,000 account holders, so it is taking longer than expected. However, you will receive an email notification once your wire has been initiated."

They may not have paid me yet but they are still receptive to my emails so I'm still going to give them the benefit of the doubt..

Crossing fingers.

yep, that's the problem, they want to get all the funds in one payment. and that's ~ 1-1.5 million bucks.

For people in Australia, I understand that there is an active open file with the Queensland Police fraud squad, I suggest any Australians affected contact them. It would be highly likely Christopher Mallick would be at least interviewed over the matter if he were to enter Australia.
