How do you choose the best billing company for your business??

Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to launch my niche dating/cams site in the next couple of months. Up until recently I've been working for other companies, so I was never really involved in choosing a billing solution...they always had that stuff handled before I began marketing the sites.

Now that I am going to launch my own I would like to know how you guys determine who the best billing company is for your business.

• Does it matter what type of site it actually is?
• What are typically the best rates I should go for?
• Should I just go with the usual...CCBill or Epoch?
• I've been approached by Zambaio and SegPay and they both seemed pretty good, what do you think of them?
• What other things should I consider when making my decision?

I know there are a lot of questions here, but I'd appreciate any help I could get...thanks all!

  Yes, Certain sites such as dating, porn, pills, etc etc are knows as High Risk and you will pay a higher % then something that is more mainstream and has less chargebacks

  You should see who provides the best rate, as well as you should check what other fees they charge. Check out multiple vendors and see which is best.

Also, check out what other dating sites are doing. I am sure most are using multiple billers and cascading to make sure they have an opportunity after the 1st biller denies. There are high rejection rates so this will help your business.

Tell them you want real time access to their server logs to TRACK and VERIFY your surfers/customers movements on their servers, after they leave your join pages!

If they grant you this appropiate and rational option...they just may be a sound and square billing company.

If they are unwilling to provide you with whatever you need to make your processing experience comfortable then they most likely have something to hide.

I am in this thread because I was a newbie once and could have used some good advice back then from those who knew better and had made been taken to the cleaners by billing companies.

Also recognize that every SALE you generate is going to be converted to a temprary loan, and loaned to you at a rate of between 8% and 15%. You know this to be a loan becaue if the customer DEFAULTS and charges back, then your loan credit is dedcuted from your sales.

If they were really Your sales, and you did not transfer ownership of the sale by hiring a billing company then they could not issue a refund without your consent.

Also study your stats, and read some online journals about processing fraud and how to detect the practice. Its out there if you dare to enlighten yourself...I warn you you will never look at processing the same

Agreed. You would be hard pressed to find most companies not using multiple billers and cascading these days.
