MPS *Pay by Phone* feature live
After much development and testing our new "pay by phone" call system is completed. Now when a caller's balance drops to 1 minute the call will be placed on-hold while the caller is given the option to deposit more money or continue speaking to the operator until their time is exhausted.
If the callers choose to deposit more money they can select to use an existing credit card (already on file within their MPS account), or use a new credit card. The process is very easy - the caller enters the CC number, expiration, security code, then how much they wish to deposit. When completed the caller will hear their new balance and they can either deposit more, or go back to the operator and use their new extended time. *During this time the operator will hear an automated message informing them that the caller is depositing more funds and to remain on the line. What happens when you receive a call? 1. The caller listens to music while you (or your operator) is connected. You will have to press 1 to be connected and only after that will the call go live and the customer billed. You will have 10 chances to press 1, so you can take a few seconds if you need. 2. The call then progresses normally until the caller is down to 1 minute. At that time he is given options to deposit more funds and you receive an automated message informing you that the caller is depositing more money. 3. When the caller is finished you will hear a prompt and the call is live again. What's next? Soon every operator on your site will have a toll free number and unique extension. This includes all new and existing operators. Callers can then call the toll free number, enter their caller pin code, then enter the extension number of the operator. The caller's MPS account balance will be debited per minute according to your operator's rate and the caller will have the same options to deposit more money when their account balance drops to one minute. This will increase call volume as it will allow callers to connect even when they are not online  |
