Stats "dancing" in NATS? Is that possible?
First of all, I trust this sponsor, I work with them for years.
But recently I see some strange things in my stats. I started monitoring my stats a few days ago and made enough screenshots to catch those weird things. What can it be? Glitches in NATS? Wrong settings on sponsor's servers on in my account? Anything else? I can post more screenshots, but these are most demonstrative: ![]() I have sent 3,379 uniques on aug-30. ![]() A bit later I see that it was not 3,379 but 2,824; the latter amount was reported thru entire aug-31. ![]() Sep-01 already, still the same 2,824 uniques for aug-30. ![]() Now - magic! - it's back to 3,379 uniques for aug-30. How it's possible that for a long period (more than 24 hours) NATS reported wrong stats? I have other examples (screenshots) with numbers going up and down, but not for so long. I keep monitoring, but I would like to hear opinions on this stuff. |

I believe I saw this too, but only for a few minutes. Kinda I see yesterday I made 2 sales, then I see 1 sale for yesterday and in a minute I see 2 sales for yesterday again. Unfortunately, I did not take screenshots. But yes, it was strange too.
So, anyone can offer some reasonable explanation to those dancing stats? |

They might be running multiple db servers that aren't setup properly.
You contact the sponsor and tell them you were on to them? |

Again, I do not accuse this sponsor. I just want to understand how this dance is possible. Can anybody confirm that wrong db servers settings can lead to such errors in NATS? Is there any clear way to fix it in NATS settings? |

Fresh example:
![]() Does anybody know what's going on? Why stats are dancing on regular basis? Is it a NATS-specific thing? Can it be fixed? Or should I stop worrying? |

NATS does use some caching & summary/historical vs. live tables. This could be the cause of it, or it could be another issue entirely.
Have you contacted the affiliate program in question and asked them to look into it?

John, thank you for info. So I suppose it's caching. I asked sponsor, but maybe you know - almost all sponsors reply "don't worry, all transactions are counted properly and you'll never lose money" (and they always do not have time or do not want to explore the case).

Also, the caching/historical tables/etc. themselves should not cause what you are seeing. So if it is due to that, it is due to another issue on top of it (something being setup wrong, not running properly, etc.). If you are seeing stats changes like that, then something IS wrong somewhere. It is not how it is designed, nor how it normally works.
