I call this method of organization "organized chaos." I know exactly where everything is. The lady in red in the pics framed over the desk is my girlfriend, BTW. Most of the postcards and stuff around the desk were sent to me by her...I like to keep stuff around that reminds me of her, since we have a long-distance relationship.

The stuff on the screen is some air-combat sim my husband plays...Air Warrior, I think.

Notice the Gin & tonic bottles on the right-hand side there. Those are essential to my designs.

That transparent mess on the left hand side of my laptop is actually 5 empty glasses.

Damn Cell-phone cameras suck in quality.

Anyway thats not my setup... mine are all 21" monitors

I like the desk a lot though... it has a recessed shelf in the back that the monitors are on. Either that desk (something custom) or a biodesk is what I want to get.

Man.. my 21's are sort of old actually... mostly from 1998-2000 & I've been sort of wondering about that. They have travelled to a few different spots around the country in moving trucks. I wonder if maybe the rides in boxes other than thier originals would help knock them out of whack.

Is radiation poisoning from monitors/computers real?

It's from a German company called Waiko. I doubt they sell their furniture in the US though...

Send them to dthurman at web presence group dot net

She would love to tackle something like that. We are moving our office and data center later this month and would like to get away from the office space look (tm) and get a little more open looking.
