Well, first check the state it is in, I assume it is "read only". so first type:
attrib foo.file It should state something like: A SHR foo.file A means to archive in a backup program. (useless in reality). S means System, H means Hidden R means Readonly. to get rid of attributes go: attrib -shr foo.file that will remove System, hidden and readonly from the file. Even if they are already removed, that command won't harm them. use + to add any attributes on. ZoiNk
