Not about standing in a street full of people looking for the same thing and holding a sign with a shop's name on it, directing them to a shop that has little to offer and after the handful do sign up, they move on fast.

Yes the skill level is good, but alot of other sponsors aren't looking for that "Manwin-esque" kind of porn. Yes it works with a one off sale. I was a front line salesman in the 80s, selling installations of office furniture. I knew if I used the right sales technique, looked for the right "Hot Buttons" I could sell mostly anything. It was a one off sale as office furniture isn't bought over and over again. It's doesn't perish and not consumable.

This does apply to porn.

For a month. Then the customer cancels, or even charges back. So the slick selling techniques achieved a $30 sign up and that's it. The members cancel early, don;t come back and far warier the next time.

We all know the power of retaining a member. All the marketing, sales techniques or great tours, doesn't mean shit when the guy open the site or puts the DVD into "Play".

Then it's the skill of people like Marc and Max that count.

that might be true as of late, but personally i try to keep my promo at 50/50 pps/revshare.

i look at the individual program, actual content, try to find reviews/customer satisfaction reports and then make the decision on whether to go pps or rev.
