Hi everybody!

I started with blogs and have lots of questions. I read some previously discussed threads but since I'm new to this great community I could use advices of an experienced users.

1. How many posts per blog before activating it to search engines?
2. What is the easiest way to get backlinks?
3. Do you use atom and rss feed on your blogs or just one of them? some wordpress themes got atom and rss implemented in the source code.
4. Meta descriptions - do you find this still useful since first 100 words of the posts well I don't know if that's really a good idea.

Everyone's different with how they do their blogs, some things work for others and some don't. With that said, here's what's been working for me:

1. I start with 10 posts
2. I use Link Spun
3. I don't even worry about all of that
4. Just make quality posts, link a picture to FHG (or you can go the route of having image galleries hosted on your blog) and write a decent description for the post, not a halfed ass one.

You could make a few large blogs and focus all of your efforts on them or make lots of quality blogs and build a big network or you could make a bunch of fast not as good ones and take quantity of quality.
