While I support efforts to stop piracy, I do have issues with targeting an unrelated platform.

IRC is a platform. A connection protocol more than anything.

efnet.org does not host anything aside from their home page, a tos, motd and irc server software.

Where you would see any deep linked stuff with user/passes would be in channels, pms with bots and dcc chats with bots. Those bots host on their own shell accounts elsewhere's. Not on efnet.org

It would be like labeling Main St. as being involved because a robber used it to drive his get-away car on. Or better yet, target the coffee shop because someone walked in and started handing out passwords to random people.
