Remember how freaking great he was.
Pandora just played a Mad Season song. Layne is one of those guys that kind of slips my mind then I hear him and remember what an incredible singer he is. . .or was. Carry on with your Saturday night.  |

I'll never forget the Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged. When it opens and you hear Layne Staley sing Nutshell you can truly hear the addiction and pain in his voice, even if you never did a drug in your life. Every time I hear that version I get fucking shivers up my spine. Such fucking pain, and such fucking wasted talent, all there in that song...
