This needs to be spread around so they get the size of the problem, if not already well aware.

Especially with CP type links.

No doubt there will be plans to continue pressuring Visa and MC at some point about filelockers?
I'd be willing to offer some time if needed if this gets bigger and bigger and I know a few of my fellow spanko producers here in the UK and Holland would help too!

Infringement reports should be limited to infringement upon copyright works. Only copyright holders or their representatives can file them.

The correct place to report CP is law enforcement.

Please do not blur these issues they are entirely separate.

Vreer.com and Filesline.com file lockers also lost their Paypal accounts this week. Filesline is now trying to use new Paypal account in an attempt to bypass termination, but that wouldn't last long.

What about links that indicate CP and normal porn?

As stated, CP should be reported to law enforcement.

Normal porn is no different from any other content, only the rights holder can file infringement reports to deal with it.

We are already progressed on dialogue with Mastercard and are working on the Visa issue.

Unlike Paypal, which wholly controls it's own system, Mastercard and Visa are brands with many layers of bureaucracy between the global brand and the actual merchant. This means that seeing results on reports can take much longer than with Paypal who can terminate merchants instantly.

business as usual

bump.. ak, seems business has increased for all these indians after you took their favorite file lockers pp accounts away, threads at WJ seem to be full of people reporting higher earnings with all their old hosters. How did they adapt so fast? I see almost all of them now are accepting Visa & Mastercard with 3rd party merchant accounts. Even your favorite ryushare is back in full force.

Well, good luck with your campaign, I'm still following it. Kudos to you and your team.

I understand what you're saying. My understanding was Visa or some merchants ban certain words. The police don't care if the headline indicates CP, they are worried about the content.

Great moves forward. Merchants and banks are very anti things the CC companies hate. Multicard lost their ability to process when it was discovered they were processing for Bestiality sites. So can the fight be stepped up to the merchants?

I've been following the Oron vs. Corbin Fisher case here:

http://ia600705.us.archive.org/22/it...rts.nvd.88374/

I'm not a lawyer, but my interpretation of where things stand as of today as follows:

1) In the Hong Kong version of the case, Oron requested 3.4 million be released from their frozen account (which holds 8-13 million) for "regular business expenses". The judge was willing to do it, but required that Oron itemize these expenses, and show proof of how they arrived at this particular amount. Oron's lawyers kept indicating to the judge to look at past transactions in the bank statements before him, but the Hong Kong judge wasn't buying it. He said all these past records showed was that Oron was moving it's money rapidly out of the US to Hong Kong, and then converting it into gold for withdraw. He released $269,000 dollars to cover expenses and told them they had 3 days to submit actual documentation of their expenses to get the full amount. Oron did submit a letter from Leaseweb where Leaseweb detailed a huge sum of money owed to it by an individual named G Maksim, but the judge wouldn't accept that letter as proof that it was an obligation of Oron's (FF Magnat's). This happened in late July, and Oron apparently declined the Court's offer to release more funds if more documentation is submitted.
2) Meanwhile in the US, Oron is telling the judge the site is down now because the injunction freezing its funds is a chokehold. It claims that this all very unfair, and that Oron is an innocent victim. They want the case thrown out on the grounds that a) Oron doesn't have any business ties in Nevada b) Oron is protected by safe harbor provisions in the DMCA, and have always had a robust anti-piracy policy in place. Oron claims they block copyrighted files by MD5 hash tag on the server level and delete repeat infringers.
3) Corbin Fisher's witnesses have submitted statements and screenshots indicating that: a) Oron, Pornbb, and forumophilia all share the same owner. The latter two are huge porn piracy boards, where Oron, a once unpopular filehost, was suddenly shoved down the throats of its users as the preferred filehost by means of a user poll that suspiciously jumped to favor Oron in the closing hours. The communities there objected and people quit in protest, but it's since settled in as the primary host.
B) It's unlikely a hosting company with a long term relationship with a client would suddenly pull the plug on it in the way that Oron is claiming Leaseweb has. And some collusion between them is being inferred by Corbin Fisher's side.
4) Corbin Fisher has told both the American court and the Hong Kong court that a settlement was reached between them and Oron, but that Oron is now trying to back out of it. It wants this settlement enforced.

On both IE9 and firefox 14, same error, tried now... and topic and texts was just "test" in every field, except email I must put one or say validation error. The URL adds a #wpcf7-f4-p10-o1 after error submnit:

http://stopfilelockers.com/contact-a...pcf7-f4-p10-o1

Maybe I should write some offense in textfield for making it work?

As we understand it Deposit Files lost Paypal quite a while ago when we first reported their termination. What we think happened was that they used Paypal accounts they had on ice until Paypal acted on those also.

We have never discussed operational matters publicly and are not about to do so now.

Our advice to anyone who has concerns about CP is that those concerns should be reported to law enforcement.

File Lockers were always going to switch to other payment methods where they could. That doesn't mean that we aren't pursuing them or that their new payment methods are any more secure than Paypal was for them.

I don't know if Paypal have a list of banned words. Their AUP covers usage.

Visa and Mastercard seem to have banned words however their enforcement seems to be very selective at best.

There are so many banks who carry merchant relationships with merchants it's not practical to communicate with them over this issue.

Banks that can't be found, talked to and happy to process for porn?

They might act faster than we think. Still worth adding the bank to the list if they can be found.

Muchshare.net file locker lost their Paypal account (again), and their Moneybookers account too.

They operate the file locker livefile.org

These guys lose their paypal and that forum goes bye bye.

Banks deal with the individual merchant relationships under the card systems owned by Visa and Mastercard. Dealing directly with each individual bank would not only be time wasting but would not achieve anything as no bank will discuss individual accounts with third parties.

We usually don't disclose which sites are being targeted nor discuss operational matters in public. We are, however, currently working on a handful of high profile sites and this process takes time.

This is almost working to good. I got an email from PayPal letting me know that my account has been limited. When I contacted them they said it was because one of my listed email addresses was adult related. Kind of funny but still a pain in the ass.
