:stop There must be 1000's of webmasters signing up to programs

<rant>
So I signed up for 2 programs that seemed to have what I wanted on the 31st July.

Had my grunt worker ready to start getting everything in I needed.

Still waiting on approval for 1 of them. Are there still 1000's of webmasters joining programs daily that it takes that long?

The other company buddy profits, gave me access to the promo tools the same day and everything is already built with them as the sole sponsor.

It's been a week, should I chase for affiliate area access or just write them off?

Write them off. Sponsors are a dime a dozen and if one doesn't care enough about affiliates to let them wait, there are tons more where that one came from.

I would not write them off just yet but then again, I work with affiliates so I never want to see a good one lost. I would make an attempt to contact their affiliate rep/manager and ask that person what the hold up is. I dont see how you could have been lost between the cracks but it could happen I guess.

It's not always in your best interest to only stick with just the desperate programs and ignore the ones that are strict about their affiliate approval process.

Just follow up with the ones that don't approve you instantly. In many cases it will be worth it.

I have no problem with the affiliate approval process.
How many affiliate signups do you think smallish sponsors get a day?

The whois matches the payment info, there's a live site in the niche already up. Should me simple yes/no/more info required. email.

here at magnusbucks.com, we see to it that affiliates get what they need to promote us...we give them a day or two if we don't have them yet...but two days the most and then they get it...for me affiliates are very important ;)

I get one every 3-4 months lol, maybe they do not need more because it does so well so they get to it when they can so this is the best one. Probably run by PM too haha

if it's a smaller program should be pretty quick. I'll get behind on approvals over a weekend, but usually its never more than a 48 hour wait. We still get quite a few webmasters signing up daily.

Something to consider though, every now and then I'll get a webmaster hitting me up saying they haven't received their approval yet after 2 weeks or whatever and I look it up and it was approved right away, they just didn't get the approval email for one reason or another. These things can get lost in the mix so contacting their support would tell you more I'm sure.

If your email address is your ISP you might be running into a spam database issue. Had it happen back in 05 when I joined PimpRoll for example. My ISP still flags things I want as spam and allows real spam through like crazy.

If you have a real site for promoting and things match we approve within a couple hours. Almost always working so no problem to add you fast.
Programs that make you wait...Could be good or could be real bad.

Sorry for sharing this here but..

Yesterday I was about to put a dating popup on one of my blogs and I remember that I already promoted one program (I had some earnings there too) and I wanted to push it again..
I logged in, tried to get the codes but I wasn't able to chose a "program" to promote. I had to contact them too to let them know which "program scheme" I'm going to use and why..
I just closed the tab and used another program that had everything ready and easy tools to help me out setting it asap..

One of the reasons i stopped pushing traffic to SexMoney back in the day, constant phone calls from them any time one of their affiliate managers had to fart they wanted to let me know about it...
