				 | Just saw on CNN that the Orlando Sentinel (who endorsed Obama in 2008) just endorsed Romney. The anchors on CNN looked like they were about to cry as they reported it. They were "surprised" at the endorsement. I tuned over to MSNBC to see what they would say about it. But they didn't even report it. I watched Martin Bashir having an orgasm over Pres. Obama's quips today on the campaign trail over Romeny having a case or "Romnesia" Swear to God I watched him for 20 minutes and that's all he talked about! He even went to an NBC correspondent standing outside of the White House (even though Obama was out on the campaign trail) and the two of them chortled and chuckled and exclaimed that The President is "on fire" today on the campaign trail! Amazing to watch the media at work. |

				 | What is interesting about the Orlando Sentinel endorsement, is that it is a Tribune owned paper, a conservative entity. Obama marked the first time in 160+ years that the Tribune endorsed a Democrat. The Sentinel has a record of endorsing a Democrat only 3 times (LBJ, Kerry, and Obama). They endorsed George H.W. Bush and then Bob Dole instead of Clinton, and he was President during the economic good times.

				 | I have to question, have any of you ever changed your vote based on the endorsement of a newspaper or a celebrity? I was trying to think if I ever have, and couldn't think of a time.

				 | Not too sure that an insane, narcissistic megalomaniac's endorsement is a good thing. He made himself famous because he turned Chrysler around... no one seems to remember that he then destroyed Chrysler.

I don't see what that has to do with who they endorse. Endorsements are usually that of the owners of the newspaper and not those who they have some joint agreement with.

				 | Only because I haven't had my shot yet! I'm a money making machine at my small level. Let me get in charge of something big and I'll re-define "money-grubbing" and make you want to throw up from my level of decadence and greed. |

I just looked up his voting record. He seems to be a lot like me in that respect. He votes for the man he feels is best for the job instead of party politics. He voted for both Republicans and Democrats and endorsed them both: "Politically, Iacocca supported the successful Republican candidate George W. Bush in the 2000 presidential election. In the 2004 presidential election, however, he endorsed Bush's opponent, Democrat John Kerry. In Michigan's 2006 gubernatorial race, Iacocca appeared in televised political ads endorsing Republican candidate Dick DeVos, who lost. Iacocca endorsed New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson for President in the 2008 Presidential Election." | |
