Anyone understand the term "Internecine Warfare"?

In an environment which is turning more and more towards a sort of sexual Puritanism the premier website on which adult webmsters are supposed to meet to discuss business has turned into a forum filled with infighting, slander, Ad Hominem attacks and general bullshit unrelated to that business.

I am certain the time may be short to change this, in that it seems to me that the adult industry is at a sort of tipping point; teetering and could go either direction.

Do not be fooled by the re-election of The Chosen One. Just because the guy has left adult alone in his first term does not mean that he will in his second. He faces a constitutional challenge in which the supremacmy of federal law is being challenged by the "legalization" of marijuana by many states, which actions are in clear violation of federal law and at some point he will have to take action or lose face, respect and most importantly, power.

The Feds will indeed come after someone and the adult industry has its ass hanging out there in the wind like nobody's business!

I am not making a political thread out of this because the truth is the truth.

Much of the public in the USA is fundamentalist and it makes no difference what you, I or anyone else thinks about that. The fact is that fundamentalism is ruling on the local and state levels and those entitites can bring enough pressure to bear on the federal government for action to be taken.

Nevermind the constitutional violations of such actions; myth, superstition and "faith" tend to rule in such matters.

Any reasonably intelligent enemy and the enemy is intelligent in its own way will look for chinks in the armor of its foe (By the way, "chinks" is not a "racist" term, although one could have some fun with it!) and the constant infighting creates those chinks, that is holes through which the enemy can go to undermine the fortress which we must constantly defend.

I suggest that if one does not like the posts of another, just let it fucking go! Don't come in and write that the OP is some kind of jackass because the internet changes much faster than we can predict and deal with.
