These days I use header-redirection but I just searched for "CasinoSiteName" and found one of my pages ranked on page #3. It just got like 2-3 backlinks from it's own domain.

The idea is the make organic results rubbish so as surfers learn to click on the paid ads instead. At the same time, only rank sites organically that wouldn't have been paying for ads. That's the best way to increase ad spending

surely this is misguided information as if google start doing shit results, users will go elsewhere to bing etc.

They got the market share by providing top results, they retain it by providing the best results.

this happened me once when babylon-x was still alive. My redirect domain got on #1 on google on babylon-x and got tons of signups. After short time google fixed it and site was gone.
