I want to make sure if I sell some adult content on Ebay I don't get in trouble for shipping to certain states... Does any one have no ship to list of those states?

Due to restrictions out of our control, we cannot ship adult product (this includes toys and accessories) to the following destinations:

Florida (We can ship statewide, EXCEPT for Jacksonville and Tallahassee, which are restricted)
Mississippi - completely restricted
Ohio (We can ship statewide, EXCEPT for Cincinnati, which is restricted)
Tennessee (We can ship statewide, EXCEPT for Memphis, which is restricted)
Utah - completely restricted

Listen man. As a guy that resides in the Tampa Bay area, STAY AWAY from Polk County. There is no gray area for them what so ever, and the top dog Sheriff there will go to whatever lengths possible to get your ass locked up.

This is so much of a hassle I almost don't want to do it at all. This is why I have stayed with online digital only so far. If I can find a complete list maybe. NOTHING is worth the risk of jail in my opinion.

I still think it's harder to get prosecuted if you're not shipping there. I know for a fact nothing I'm selling is by today standard Obscene much tamer than would come up in a google search. How ever if you know there is nest full of rattle snakes looking to bite it's to avoid it.

I agree. But Joe's article is making me think twice. If he is right, then if you are in LA and you are shipping to Chicago, the FEDS can prosecute in any jurisdiction they choose in the travel path of the product. That's kinda fucked.

We sell DVDs. Never had a problem, knock on wood, but content is much tamer than past and we avoid the max hardcore stuff like the plague.

Kinda the wrong business to be in. Between obscenity laws and 2257 record keeping laws any of us could find ourselves in jail at any time (for the obscenity, my 2257 is fine).
