After reading this article, I now wish I went to Facebook as an intern years ago.

Glassdoor estimates that the average Facebook product manager makes $132,000 a year, while software engineers take in $114,000. Ah, but what about the poor interns that the company surely exploits for some cheap coding help? Oh, they make between $5,600 and $6,300 a month?the equivalent of $65,000 to $75,000 a year. Yes, the interns. As Business Insider notes, that's some $25,000 more than the average American worker.

My Dad will be retiring this coming year, between stock and salary he'll bring in over $350k.
He's a senior level electrical engineering manager.

If you are disciplined, creative, and persistent, there is a lot more money out there going alone.
Having a standard job allows you to be lazy in 1 or 2 of those categories, at least for a time.

Was thinking the same.

Brazil looks a lot worse though, or atleast used to. Apparently 10% owned 90% of that countries wealth. Might be a bit different today with their economy on the rise though.

But that isn't because the world is still growing and improving every day though, it's because the wealthy bankers are keeping us down according to WHP
