Since living here in the DR I have been:

bitten by a street dog
stung by a jellyfish
caught a burglar in the act of robbing my house
got food poisoning twice from eating seafood at 'reputable' restaurants
had my car impounded by amet and my chica had to bribe them to get it out
had a girl taken to jail by politur for leaving her unattended on the sidewalk
been gringo price gouged on bananas/taxis/everything basically
forced to walk 15 miles after getting a flat bike tire in the country
had my bathroom toiletries pilfered by cheap mafiosa putas
been shaken down by cops on the roadside for 'gas for their motorcycle' (bribe)
been approached by cops in pharmacies saying 'we worky all day and are hungry' (more bribes)
been mistaken for a haitian refugee at night and subsequently harassed/searched by the cops
had girls grab my dick 12 times in 2 minutes strolling around inside classicos
had an idiot on a scooter crash into a rental car i was a passenger in and keep going
seen a dead horse on the highway with nobody paying it any attention
been through 3 hurricanes and 2 earthquakes
had to pay off middleman cops in cahoots with theives to get my stolen camera gear back

thanks for the info...oh well a hotel is 50$/day with all inclusive 5 star and stuff so this would be a better option...I know about the people and the thieving LOL just like in my country I am used to this

classicos is arguably the most popular disco in DR where the upper echelon of whores are at in the evenings to meet stupid sex tourists like me. the girl laying on my sofa there that look like tiger woods sister is a bartender there and friend. they are the only club i have seen in the DR with a door charge to get in, around $5. but thats awkward to pay for club entrance because there are C/D/F grade girls offering to give you head for $12 just a hundred yards away. i guess its a nice place to go and see the 10s, dance with them, chill in the A/C and watch gringos pickup chicks but i dont go there much often anymore because i know where all the girls live and prefer to meet them in the daytime when they are out of hustle mode.
