It is kinda different. If sombeody is shaving their own plumbing, they can't always see what they're doing down there. The skin is very delicate, and there are lots of blood vessels.

Censors, religious zelots, gouvernments, etc have been for years trying to keep pubic hair out of porn. In fact they are not overly happy with vaginal lips, clitoruses or anything that is not just a flat barbie doll appearence.

When you consider that this bald vagina trend was started by us.. (The porn industry.)
And that the porn industry and the cosmetic industry both exploit women and their vaginas.
