Day 3 still no email. Thanks Cavecreek Hosting!

Come on CaveCreek this is the 3rd day with no email and nothing but BS from
you, not even as much as an ETA. You?re only response is that the engineers are working on it. Yesterday out of frustration I asked to speak to one of the engineers that were supposedly working on it only to be told they were not there but working on it from home.

Your clients are trying to run a business, many of them like I am paying for advertising and a number of other major business factors that require receiving email.

Cave Creek/Secured Servers/PNAP (owned by CCBill) are one in the same to my understanding. Little more than different "brands". All the same, here is a bump for you top notch. Perhaps post up on WHT?

Thanks for the bump as well as the suggestion although for now I?ll pass on other posts.

All I want for Christmas
is my email fixed,
my email fixed,
yes my email fixed!

Gee, if I could only
have my email fixed,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas."

It seems so long since I could see,
"My emails being showed!"
Gosh oh gee, how happy I would be,
?if they would only download!?

All I want for Christmas
is my email fixed,
my email fixed,
yes my email fixed!

Gee, if I could only
have my email fixed,
then I could wish you
Yes I could wish you
Then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas."

Merry Christmas Everybody!

It could be that your server auto updated and some versions have an email problem.
Try sending a test email to an account; then delete that account in plesk and recreate it and then send another email to see if you get it.

Dedicated server, now into day 4 with no email, said they are aware of the problem it is one of our mail servers that is down, very sorry but we will not be doing anything about it till Monday.

This is company I have been with for 10+ years.

How's that for professionalism?

Of course they have 24/7 support but all support tells me is BS, they are clearly being briefed about the email problem.

I must say I am truly disappointed and frustrated with them.

Yes that was the first thing I tested also called them to ask if it could be my server
said they use separate servers for their emails. I think its chuck mail and one of those servers are down it?s actually off line now.

Problem is time of year, they have a skeleton crew most who have no idea how to
handle the problem. I just wish they would have said so from the get go instead of having
me jump through hoops to get to the root of it.

Decent company but to do this compromised their credibility with me big time, but I will wait to Monday (like I have a choice) to see what the supervisors have to say.

So you do not host your own email, like EXIM on your own server...

CCBill rocks!

Cavecreek: The worst host I ever had in my 15 years in adult.

I stuck it out with them for three months of issue after issue. Members area videos not playing on mobile devices or Ipads. Email issues. "Engineer team meetings" with the result being nobody knew why or how. All my sites got de-indexed from Google. That was the final straw, went back to my old host and within 3 days all my sites were back at the top on Google. All issues gone. I did take a financial hit though.

Are they still around, I thought they opened ccbill and let it go.

I'm sure they are available, just busy maybe?

Good luck!

Nothing worse than a host that's nowhere to be found when you're losing visitors and PPC rep by the minute.

Bump for you.

All hosts have their negatives, however we seem to have had best luck with Phatserver's presence (sp) over the years.
