And a $180 inconvenience fee once the domain has any value. Good luck!

i've used godaddy for a long time and would use them ANYTIME over scumbags like Register.com. They seriously spam you to death, charge huge fees and are a joke. I've had good experience with godaddy

Why not just transfer them to Namecheap when they come up for renewal?

I use these Godaddy coupons all of the time and then when they come up for renewal I just transfer them to my Namecheap account for around $8/renewal.

I'm not starting a pissing match.
Just saying that in nearly ten years, i have never once been rebilled for that kind of amount for a single domain name through GoDaddy.
Maybe it was some yahoo thing, who knows...

Exactly. My rebill emails come in w/ standard price renewals, and I use the links from previous renewals with a code that has them renew for $8.49.

You can do even better with the gmail link, you might have to refresh your gmail a few times or make sure you have a domain email to trigger the keywords but they have a 99 cent godaddy .com special you can use 3 times, I used it more then got blocked. It adds code automatic. The $3 one is good too, but use the 99cent gmail link first works at least 3 times
