CC Bill Fraud solution?
Hi everyone,
I just want to float this past you and see what you think. I use CC Bill for my billing and have been dealing with the fraud issues forever. I see people using a stolen credit card along with a fake name and email address. Since the approval screen has the user name and password, the thief does not need to use an actual email address. What if CC Bill randomized all of the user names and passwords and only supplied them through email? It seems like it would force the thief to use an actual email address, making it easier to track them down and prosecute. I have a strong feeling that most of my fraudulent transactions are from a small group of people. If I could get rid of half a dozen people or so, most of the fraud would go away. Any thoughts? Jeff
