It's nice to see Michael Shannon getting bigger roles in films, he's been excellent in Boardwalk Empire

He's also in a film coming out so called The Iceman (2012) that looks really good!

I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed with the last "reboot" of Superman so when I heard they were doing another I was not very enthusiastic. Then I heard who was writing and directing it and was interested. Now I have seen a few trailers and I have to admit that it looks pretty damn cool.

I think he's one of the best out there. He's done some great indie work, and was already an Oscar nominee and he was in Groundhog Day. 'Nuff said.

He will likely be nominated again this year, and I think he has a good chance to win.
