I guess it would depend. Would this fame come with money? Fame without cash would be miserable.

If it came with money it could be worth it. Living to say 60 and having a great, fun life full of adventure, to me, would be better than living to 70 and spending much of your life in a job you hated and just surviving.

I do suppose it matters what I would be famous for. This could be one of those devil trick questions where you get your wish and suddenly you're in prison for life for being the world's most famous bank robber and you hid your billions somewhere else but you'll never actually get a chance to spend it. The devil is tricky like that. lol

But if I could choose it all down to the details, and design every aspect of my life and health, while keeping those around me and not losing anyone in the process, then yes, I would trade my last 10 years for it if I could design it all.

All comes down to shit they ate most of their lives. If you're basically in a wheelchair or "scooter" at 75 then hell no it's not a good life.
