Question about processors - GoFuckYourself.com

Hello. I have a somewhat adult site that isn't porn. I was told by paypal that it would be ok to process with them. I have been using an adult processor for the past few months. My question is, if I take the processors pages off my site to use paypal, will they automatically close my account? I plan on switching back & forth month to month from paypal to the adult processor, so I wouldnt want that to happen.

Hi,

Don't do what you are asking. Paypal to adult processor will go like this:

paypal - sales
adult processor - sales + scrub + 15.5% PF + 10% holdback + $1250 Visa/Mastercard /yr
paypal - shut down account, hold all money
adult processor - that's all you got now and all your money is going to someone else.

I understand everything you said except for this part. As far as paypal, I know how they get down. Ive used them in mainstream since 07. Im not worried about the paypal being shutdown, Im just concerned that if I stop processing with the adult processor for lets say a month, that they will close my account. I would ask them directly but dont want to raise any eye brows. Maybe im being paranoid .

you should be paranoid about paypal closing your account. This is your livelihood... take measures into your own hands.

I am billing for certain people... it is called *beaner billing*.

If you are processing mainstream with NETbilling and are in the US, the feed will be about 5%, adult willbe about 8%, including , processing, fraud scrub and customer service.

Not only that but you will get daily payouts.

Hey bud.

If you are getting people their own merchant accounts, that's great, however if you are processing other merchants on your own merchant account without submitting a full application on each merchant for the banks knowledge and approval, that is called factoring and will get you in big trouble if it's caught.

Coming back to the original question, the best advice so far was to ask the adult processor directly. We are dealing with third party billers and merchant accounts since 2006

- Most have No number of minimum transactions, but fees can still apply
- All necessary info for this case should be written in your contract and their ToS
- Be aware that you would have to handle two user groups/password lists/login functions, if it's a paysite (you didn't gave info on that or used cms)

My advice, if your system can handle it: DO AN A/B TESTING

Nothing like that. I mentioned *select few*. These select few would be partners of which I own a percent. No different then any other program who adds sites to their program and bills under the affiliate program.

The difference is I am trying to establish the importance of surfer flow from point of hitting *join* to filling in credit card information. Using tools such as 1 click upgrade, repeat purchases, etc. So much money is left on the table because these items are not typically addressed. And then obviously the fact that sending your surfer off site and requiring tons of fields, then the scrub to boot... well they all add up negatively.

With the help of those involved... we are going to scale it up, offer *all* the tools necessary to capitalize on profits. I am going to post the exact stats of what can be accomplished when *billing* is made a priority.

Not using paypal is good advice as well. I have also never heard of any third party biller having a problem switching main processors... it is called cascading. The only biller to *penalize* for switching main billers that I know of is zombaio. I don't even think they do that as they used to offer 5.9% (from recollection) and then would bump that to 10% or so if they found out you put them down in cascade. I think zombaio is over 10% now.

So to answer OP question direct... I don't think it would be an issue at all to switch the billers (except what I said above).
