Some new business is opening up for someone. I did good with these guys for years and now I get this:

As you're probably aware at TheDatingStudio.com we share our database with Cupid plc. We have always done this and as a consequence have collectively enjoyed a wide spread of potential dating clientele. It is this along with the joint CRM marketing, Customer Service and E mail marketing that has made the business successful.

Recently Cupid plc decided to sell off its "casual" dating assets. Unfortunately this decision has had a direct impact on our ability to offer a viable white label solution to our partners. The new owners of the Cupid "casual" brands have decided that they no longer wish to support third party clients and as such have given us notice of this decision. Sadly this means we have to give you notice on both the casual and traditional side. This is not something we want to do, but unfortunately have no choice. We have looked at all sorts of alternatives but to no avail.

We therefore must officially write to you to give you two months notice as per your contract to terminate our white label relationship. As from 1 September 2013 all revenue shares will be adjusted to that of the base rate advertised on our website. All payments will be made as per our standard terms and conditions over the next two months with the final payment ending on October 31st 2013 which you will receive November 20th 2013. We are genuinely sorry to have to give you this news, and we would like to personally thank you for your business.

We would advise you to stop all currently marketing or redirect them to other providers while the websites you hold with us are running down. Please contact the team at [email protected] if you need any suggestions for alternative providers or migrating your site(s) away from the platform.

Once again we would like to thank you for your continued business over the years.

In the next week or so we will advise you of our new range of partner services under the Minx branding. We, like you, are disappointed in not being able to offer you the existing dating services, however we are not going to let a decision beyond our control impact our business and our relationship with you. We have a fantastic range of new services that deliver excellent partner payouts. We will advise you very shortly of our great new offerings.

I wonder how they'll handle me point my domains to some other whitelabel dating service, I mean there are A LOT of active members on at least one of em. So I've e-mailed asked for an extract of all active member data so I can pass it on.

I am betting I won't get that, but in any case - what's the best alternative for whitelabel dating sites these days? DatingFactory?

There is an interesting observation I just figured out with this thread.

I have never heard from this sponsor before, TheDatingStudio.com... Strange is not it?

I just did a search on GFY and nobody talked about it before, besides this thread and a lost post inside a thread vaguely naming it. Just try a search and you will see. Can't believe it really.

I just saw a guy complaining in another forum, due of the same problem as you, because he had a whitelabel there with 500 active members.

With things like this, you can see that people are hiding their good sponsors, their tricks, their gold-mines, or what they do to make money, and not talking about them publicly, not even giving a remote edge of what works for them.

You only find out when people come to a forum and complain because the sponsor is closing.

I wonder how many other things people are pushing right now that they don't talk about at all in forums and that are doing them big bucks. They won't say a word at all. Not even a remote edge of what they do.

i can tell you that we are pretty much in the same boat as you, and its not small potatoes. its easily one of the shadiest things ive seen in 13 years of being in this (adult and adult dating) business, and ive seen some shady ass things.

if this isn't actionable then i don't know what is.

Your "thedatingstudio" / "amorix" white label dating members and recurring revenue as with all clients are sadly LOST forever.

You wont be able to "transfer" your dating site database either as they wont provide it to you and thats gone too.

Its a bitch and something we have a solution for.

Any partners who are looking for a future proof system with more control, more revenue and more features than anyone out there gimme a ping.
