Fact : I save $1000's buy using the internet!

Mostly by using "how to videos" on youtube.

I have gone to videos on youtube and found that repairmen were wrong/lying and did the job myself for 20 times less then their estimates($800 job done for $40).

I've order products for better prices online.

Saved gas on shopping because I find the product and store online first then go out and buy it.

Unfortunately though, surfing this site is going to cause me to spend all the savings on psychotherapy.

I got a deal at Walmart on a Vacuum. I bought it on their site and to get past the shipping charge, had it sent to the nearest Walmart.
I also got a wall mount for a 32 in flat screen for $18 that way.
My GF goes to Travel Zoo and gets specials for day trips we take on the Harley.

And yes, Youtube. I was in the middle of a field cutting firewood with a chainsaw. The chain got dull after hitting a nail. I have a power sharpener at home and a hand sharpener in the case. I had never used the hand sharpener. So I checked YouTube on my phone, sharpened my chain and finished the job

I purchase pretty much everything, aside from groceries, through Amazon Prime. Two day free shipping, usually a better price, I get exactly what I want, and it takes me 3 min. to do.

I use Amazon Prime as well, and sometimes even on grocery items. I just check the coupons section, open up my grocery stores website and compare prices. If I can get it the same price or less, I buy it online. Granted not many things, but have found some decent deals. My grocery store has terrible prices on some things, so that "helps".. kind of. Since I'm on foot though, it means I can carry more fresh produce when I can order bulky or heavy items online.

The Internet has changed the way we do everything.

We can star with shopping. At the local mall I was looking at a watch a for $160. Came home and found it on amazon for $68 - half off.

Anything you want to buy.... You can buy it on line for cheaper. If you are okay with used, you can buy it a lot cheaper on Ebay. I bought a $1200 laptop for $400 a few months ago, works great.

Yeah only ever had a few bad experiences with purchases made online either with delivery or stock or something like that. But generally everything has been made much easier, and ultimately cheaper...

I love doing my grocery shopping online, I have a favorites list so a couple of clicks and I've done my shopping that would have taken at least 1 or 2 hours of my time.

Also where I live the local butchers, farmers & fruit & veg shops all have online shops so you can place an order and they'll deliver the food to you which is great because I can support local businesses and get fresh, locally produced food.

Yep, I used Youtube to learn how to change my kitchen tap and attempt to fix my guttering.
Saved me money on insurance and I buy most things on ebay although I think I tend to buy things I don't really need just because they seem cheap.

Yes that happened to me too and I uh, wasnt sure how to dispose of the "tree" after I was done cutting it up, some parts wouldn't fit in the garbage disposal so I googled how to get rid of a "tree trunk" and there were a lot of great ideas!

Most growers I know are composting that part of the "tree".

In WA, it is going to be required by law to properly compost the unused portion of the plant...

I get free porn from the internet. Used to spend hundreds a year back in the 80s and 90s. Haven't spent a penny since 2001.
