AWEMPIRE's new method of stealing money
I promote AWEMPIRE for few years now, i dont earn too much, only few hundreds monthly. Last month they sent me an email telling me that from $400 (money made in that period) they have to cut $150 because a "PPS sale was commissioned to you instead of the original Webmaster who brought the transaction".
This period, the same tricky method: again they cut $150 from almost $300 i've made telling the same shit: "We have found that a PPS sale was commissioned to you instead of the original Webmaster who brought the transaction, therefore we need to withhold $150 from the payments being sent to you for the second period of November, since these commissions should never have been credited to you but this was done due to a technical issue on our side." How is this possible? Could be true that such a big company like AWEMPIRE with such an old and developed software to have such bugs in their system or it is just a method to shave webmasters? Please post your experience with AWEMPIRE.

I wonder how could the sale belong to another webmaster? Did that webmaster emailed them telling: hey i know for sure i sent a visitor with a nickame "happyvisitor" to jasmin and he bought credits, why does not show on my stats????
Last time when this happened i wanted to keep it between me and AWEMPIRE, i thought it was realy a mistake, but now...again...this is something personal and not a mistake.

I guess when you are manually approving sales it's easy to make a mistake and credit the wrong person. Just as easy as not crediting anyone. |

Never got such issues with Crakrevenue I promote cams with them for a while and the good thing is that I can mix PPS, REV and PPL with differents cams site to compare and get everything in one single payment.

I don't get it. Reading the same every year...AWE does this, AWE does that. Why are people still promoting it, when there are so many complaints about them? There are enough cam affiliate programs out there. If you feel that something is shady with your sponsor, move on, someone else will take your traffic.
Jonny, no offense, said this in general. I don't promote them and don't know if they are serious or not. Just my

That said, VideoSecrets has been fantastic to deal with over the last year or so that we've been with them. Our affiliate Rep, Jasmine, has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She's a real breath of fresh air and the company has paid like clockwork. It should be noted that Streamate are a close second, though I wish they offered better communication than via email. Others seem to do okay with the AWE, Webcamwiz, etc. group. For us, however, and for me personally, I've lost considerable respect for them and how they operate.

Doh, you're right. Not sure how I mixed those two up. Thanks for pointing out the mistake.
I have an account at AWE, but never really used it. Pending the outcome of this thread though, perhaps it was a good thing I never really did.

I would never ever promote AWE again, even if they wanted to give away me $200 to try I would say NO. Because their shady track is long. Tried once somewhere between 2006-2008, sent them couple thousands uniques of quality traffic that converted pretty good with other sponsors but never made single 1$ with AWE... yeah sure.

I do not know what is going on, but I invite you guys to use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deductive_reasoning . Let's say you are a program and you want to shave: each 5 sales, you want to pay 4 only. You have these 2 options:
1) Show 5 sales in reports. Then email the affiliate: "sorry, we give only 4, one was !?!?" [ feel free to post this in forums] 2) Show 4 sales from start, and stick to it. [nothing to post in forums] The 1) it is not likely an option for shaving, really, the 1) is for real tracking correction. I would expect shaving to happen like 2) instead. Accordingly, it is logic that in this specific case, it is not likely shaving - still could be shaving is done by any program in any time, but without unlikely subtracting from already credited sales. I repeat, I do not know what is going on, I just used logic.

I see a lot of nice promotools but their affiliate backend only has some old fashioned banners and some text links. Where to get them?

Most programs even don't subtract small chargebacks to models/affiliates, as this could generate a magnitude of drama, damaging more than the chargeback loss (I talk of small chargebacks - a $1000 chargeback you pass to models/affiliates...). I would suggest this is the most probable: 4) these sales was counted twice (so displayed in 2 affiliate accounts, paid twice) or simply in the wrong affiliate account. Then fixed emailing who got one subtracted. Now I am sure someone will post a 5)

maybe this is the case in cam business, but with paysites, they'll subtract the smallest chargebacks (revshare of course)

Our testing has shown that VideoSecret's WL's work quite well, more especially if they are the cam solution for your existing established website -- as then you already have consumer confidence from your site which translates to them feeling comfortable in signing up to your WL.
