I just saw this.
You can secure the quick release garage door opener latch with a lightweight zip tie -- took me 1 minute to secure.

Thought I would pass this along. You have got to know that this video is spreading virally to both crack-head thieves and homeowners.

This is why I keep my door padlocked inside. Pain in the ass since it kind of defeats the purpose of having a garage door opener if you have to go inside to unlock the door first, but at least it will make it a bit harder for thieves.

This isn't new by the way, I remember seeing videos showing this years ago.

I knew about this over 20 years ago. I have mine tie wrapped. My home is very secure. Locks on everything.

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants think about that
