I hope all of us have a nice weekend. Today I got up in the morning and I was thinking how can I set up a website better than XVIDEOS or RedTube. ¿How can we improve this kind of sites? ¿What do you hate most of XVIDEOS and Redtube? There must be something we have not thought...

We can make a brainstorming.

Without giving it much thought...

1) Priority uploads and publishing for partner accounts
2) More partner ads around partner account videos
3) On mobile version, show banners for partner account videos (few do this)
4) Easier banner system where partners can track and change their banners without the use of traffic junkie. Everything in one area in your tube.
5) DMCA removal accounts for partners so they can immediately remove content they did not authorize

Check videos uploaded by "normal" users.

20 Min+ videos with a watermark of a paysite (GGG for example) are usually not uploaded with the permission of the content partners, when they have an own channel. Or videos with blurred watermarks.

I wonder why there are users accounts with xxxx numbers of videos and most of them are stolen 50+ Mins. and nobody acts.

To the OP... I'd like to be able to upload with a cloaked IP, like a built in TOR, so no one could ever find out I'm stealin' shit and uploading it to your site. A password dump would also be nice so we could get free passes so we could take the videos to upload them to your site. If you want to get a leg up on Xhamster and RedTube, start there.

More 240p letterboxed videos. Mobile markets in developing countries are an untapped goldmine...!

Don't forget - to create a great 240p video, make sure you re-encode as many times as possible. eg. take the 1080p source video and encode it in 720p WMV, then 480p MP4 etc. etc. If you do this 5-6 times before your final 240p delivery video, you'll have great mobile-ready content!

I run a few fetish straight and gay sites, and for 2 years I only used Tube sites as my source of traffic. Xhamster was the best for a long time, but now xvideos gets me a little more traffic.

From a content partner's point of view I can tell you that xvideos is awesome for trying to let me upload via csv, but that feature doesn't actually work very well. Xhamster gives me more flexibility with marketing (I can design my own banner)

Ideally, the site would look like xhamster when someone is watching a vid, with the content partner's banner below the vid, no pop ups or pop unders, simple big ads on the sides, and have more specific categories for users to find what they want and content partners to tag their stuff with.

Just my opinion

Don't do like xvideos does, putting incorrect "sponsored by" annotations over videos and locking said videos so they can't be modified by the real sponsor.
