NATS - "submits" without joins

So while browsing my NATS I saw some strange thing...
I get some "submits" shown in stats, which means that surfer actually submitted/ wanted to join the site, but he didnt went through....
what could be the issue here ? do you see the same problem in your NATS stats ?
So far, lets say, that I have few programs that have like maybe 5 submits without any sales...each period/week....Is it normal ?

thx

It means the credit card was declined, or they submitted fake information

yes, I understand that, but is it normal to have such high decline rate (like 0 joins, 5 submits...) on US/ Europe traffic ?

OP, it's pretty normal. I get a shit ton more than 5 submits on some programs every week - basically surfers putting in whatever to get more info or cc declined.

I usually notice submits without join in bunches so like maybe the fucker was blind and entering incorrect data or maybe they tried a few different credit cards that all failed.

Actually that's pretty normal, a surfer will try and put in fake info as has been said, someone made a typo and it didn't go thru - sometimes a few times - a kid trying to figure it out or whatever - the reasons can go on and on and on - in some cases, if a sponsor is worth his salt, he can look into it for you and see if this is an error or if the ips are similar or whatever, they should have reasons and may be able to help you - it can't hurt to ask them at the very least, this way you will know.... ;)

Some programs have a user create a username and password to submit and it won't show them that they have to pay until the next page..that counts as a submit (at least according to some programs I promote).
