I've sent/received bank wires and sent paypal without any problems...

But good luck getting support to answer an email.

I've made a simple question (what's the paypal address used to receive payments?) three times and never got an answer.

Think of all the questions you may have and ask them all to the woman that takes care of opening new accounts since she answers fast, but after that the tech support is non-existant.

Other than that the service technically works fine.

Roberto,

What email are you using to get to our support? It'd be much better if you used ICQ to contact us. Feel free to contact me directly whenever you have problems or questions!

And thanks for your kind words though

I can say that I'm using them atm for my paypal payments...

Mostly everyting is ok, nice interface, good suppport, there was several bugs 2 months ago, but now they seems to be fixed. BTW Email address used to receive paypal payments - [email protected]

So, mostly only positive expreince for around a year from my side.

You trust your money to some guy which you can ask for
support by ICQ? WTF ?!?! You email support (@) yambo.biz
and donīt get a reply? A company that has 2 or 3 corp maildrop
addresses and some $29 phone answering service?

Sorry if I sound sceptic but this doesnīt seem like a very
professional business. Latvia and Cyprus bank accounts.
The only thing missing is a business relation with OBL financials
(Osama Bin Laden)........or did I miss that somewhere in the info?

I donīt want to diss you yambo but provide is some more info
instead of the marketing mumbo jumbo on your website. It just
doesnīt seem very credible.

Maybe try to ICQ them? Itīs weird.....but Iīm a nobody in this
business....revenue wise....but whenever I email CCbill, Epoch or
any other company I do business with I get a reply.....and if Iīm
in a hurry I dial a phone number and get someone on the phone.
itīs quite simple.

Actually I did and got a reply within 48 hours by email. I also
talked to them on the phone twice and both times I got helped
as I expected.

Bigger companies usually have a very stiff organisation structure.
They are not very flexible. In order to get help you just have to
figure out how you can contact them for what kind of questions.

This can usually be found in signup email confirmation or on the
support section of their website. Sending email to a wrong
department often results in loss of your message.

Iīm not saying all companies are handling their customer support
as it should but many times itīs systems DO work if used properly.

In this case itīs different. I obviously meant that a UK address
with a Russian phone number, latvian and cyprus bank accounts
all together make all my alarm bells ring. Not just the way you can
get access to support.

Roberto,

I understand what you're saying... And really understand that it's messed up when you don't get a reply from the support... It's really annoying. We are developing a trouble ticket system right now to avoid such problems in the future. But so you know - you can email [email protected] and you'll definitely get a reply

DynaSpain,

Yambo has nothing to do with "OBL" as you said. Latvia and Cyprus are just offshore jurisdictions where we have bank accounts. This is normal when ppl use offshore schemas to do their business. We also don't hide any info from anyone - write me an email - i'll give you all the info you want to know! And btw - do you have an a/c with yambo? I can set you up one so you change your mind about us ;)

And yes, we were down yesterday for a while. We were updating the database.

And thanks to everyone for good words

We've used yambo for non-adult based transaction for about 2 months now, crossed into 5 digits worth of profits (I know, not a big deal to some of u here)
anyways, all payments/transactions are on time and in a professional manner.

and Support is reachable instantaneously on icq for what it seems like 20hr/s day.

yambo.biz were the guys that told me I definitely couldn't get a US bank account without forming a US corporation. Then I got one. When I told them I got one and they may like to change their advice to future potential customers, they didn't believe it!

I wouldn't trust them with my money!

CashAddict,

How can we change our advice to our potential customers if we really CAN'T help with opening the US business checking account unless you have a company incorporated in the US? We just told you the truth. What is wrong with that? Why not trust us now? I don't get it.

You didn't say that you couldn't open the account for me, or you couldn't help me open it, you said it was actually impossible for me to open such an account.

CashAddict,

We told you it was impossible. That is true. But it IS impossible unless you have (as you said) 8-figure turnover and/or all doors to all banks are open for you, or unless you're a president of a bank

You did not say that to us, did you? Anyways, I'm sorry for all the confusion. We did not mean to lie to you.

DynaSpain,

We are incorporated in the UK. Our main office is in Russia, Moscow. All the tech staff is in Moscow - that's why the phone number is russian.

I can't see a reason why don't trust them
I have several bank accounts 1-lichteinstein , 1 Latvia , 8 - CZech rep. , 1 Poland and LAtvia is far the best of them
true is that support should be working without any delay or problem - if we are talking about money- no discuss about
Honestly I though about contacting them to solve my PAypal problem (doesn't accept Czechs)
