MS Surface Pro 3. Should I get one?
My laptop that everyone makes fun of me for charges to 3% battery now, and yesterday the key for the letter i stopped working. Faced with buying a new keyboard and battery, I think it's time to let it go. It's a Lenovo W500.
Was thinking Surface Pro 3 this time. Anyone have one here? |

I have the pro 2 which I love. Get the docking station, output to a big monitor and you are good to go. When I run around town or head on vacation its nice to bring along. Battery life on it is crazy good.

If the PC in tablet format makes sense for you, it's the best device out there.
If you have no use for a tablet, and not going to use the pen, then a laptop with more battery and storage for same or less money may be a better choice. Best of all try it in a shop near you if possible. Thinking of buying one myself. It's a pretty sexy device. |

I have a Microsoft Pro 2 and I love it. I spent the past week in England using it, and now here in Prague. I love it because it's perfect to travel with - small enough to operate as a tablet on the plane watching moves, and small enough for me to carry around when traveling.
I've had no problems with mine. With a few tricks I can get my battery time up to sixteen hours (no stand by, watching multiple movies on flights back to back). I would recommend it.

The Pro 3 is epic. I liked the other Surfaces as well, but this machine is actually a laptop replacement. Until now, I've always separated laptops & tablets. The Pro 3 is the beginning of the laptop killing generation of tablets.

I've had an Asus t300la for several months. I'm loving it. Windows 8.1 is great with a touch screen.
