Streamate - no link to adobe flash

android users get a 'not available unless you have adobe flash' kinda message, with no link the user can just tap and go get it - I'm betting that leads to a ton of them just closing or backing up and going elsewhere. Any way the option to go get it can be added?

point a rep here if you have a contact gfy'ers, thanks

I don't - I'm a bit of a tech idiot at the best of times, and know next to fuck all about mobiles, but pretty sure that they've been tested fully etc by the developers, so if there's an app for android, or an app for etc, they're most likely going to work for most androids that aren't too much of a dinosaur handset

If I have got your question, there is no official Flash for Android by years. The only way is to manually download an .apk file and install it for your Android version.

Looks like if the surfer is using Chrome on an Android it works just fine.
I tried it on Firefox on my Galaxy phone and got that same message about Flash.

I wonder why it only works on Chrome on Android? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Chrome comes preinstalled with Googles own flash player PepperFlash, I'm assuming its the same for their mobile version.

No, there's no Flash player on modern android's, no matter if chrome or firefox. However, chrome on android (including sony z mentioned by a posted) it can play apple HLS over html5, which is also what we support for tubecamgirl.com if Flash is not detected. Now, if you're on android and using firefox, it could be it does not support either Flash or apple HLS via html5 and you're without options (either on streamate or any else site). Streamate got an app too, unsure how it passes the Google Play censorship anyway.

The latest Chrome versions switch to HTML5 player by default, even on desktop platforms, you need to hack some files to force Chrome to check for Flash installation on the system.
